Softaculous lets you install WordPress in a few minutes directly from cPanel. With the WordPress hosting plans Säntis, Titlis and Matterhorn, WordPress may already be preinstalled – check your welcome e-mail or WordPress Manager in cPanel first.
How to install WordPress
- Log in at https://cpanel.hoston.ch or use the Login to cPanel button under Services in the Client Area.
- In the Software section, click Softaculous Apps Installer.
- Select WordPress and click Install Now.
- Under Choose Installation URL, select https:// and your domain. Leave In Directory empty if WordPress should run directly on yourdomain.ch.
- Enter the site name and description, and choose an admin username (not "admin"), a strong password and your e-mail address.
- Choose the language and click Install.
When finished, Softaculous shows the links to your website and to the admin area (/wp-admin).
Tip: Softaculous also lets you back up, clone, update or remove installations later.
