Change the password of an e-mail account Print

Here is how to change the password of a mailbox in your web hosting plan.

1. Log in to cPanel (https://cpanel.hoston.ch).
2. In the Email section, click Email Accounts.
3. Click Manage next to the address.
4. Under New Password, enter the new password or use Generate.
5. Click Update Email Settings at the bottom.

Alternatively you can change the password directly in webmail (https://webmail.hoston.ch) if you know the current password.

Important: Afterwards, enter the new password on all devices and e-mail programs, otherwise login will fail. For mailboxes from an e-mail package, change the password in webmail at https://mail.hoston.ch/webmail (see "Getting started with E-Mail Postfach and E-Mail Business").
