Free migration to hoston.ch Print

How the migration works

1. Order a suitable hosting plan, for example web hosting or WordPress hosting.
2. Request the migration at https://hoston.ch/umzug-zu-hoston or open a ticket in the Client Area (Support > Open Ticket).
3. Send us the access details for your current hosting, ideally a cPanel login or a full backup. FTP and database credentials also work.
4. We copy your website, databases and mailboxes to your new hosting and check that everything works.
5. Once you approve, change the nameservers to ns1.hoston.ch and ns2.hoston.ch, or transfer the domain to us.

Bring your domain

Transferring .ch and .li domains is free. You need the Auth-Code (transfer code), which you can request from your current provider.

Tip: Only cancel your old hosting once everything is running at hoston.ch and the nameservers have been changed.
