Set up e-mail forwarding Print

A Forwarder automatically sends e-mail received at one address to another address, for example to an existing mailbox.

Forward a single address

1. Log in to cPanel (https://cpanel.hoston.ch).
2. In the Email section, click Forwarders and then Add Forwarder.
3. Under Address to Forward, enter the part before the @ (e.g. info) and select the Domain.
4. Choose Forward to Email Address and enter the destination address.
5. Click Add Forwarder.

Forward a whole domain

1. Under Forwarders, click Add Domain Forwarder.
2. Select the domain and enter the destination domain. All mail to anything@yourdomain.ch then goes to the same address at the destination domain.
3. Click Add Domain Forwarder.

Note: A forwarder can exist without its own mailbox. If you want to keep a copy, also create an e-mail account with the same address. Forwarded spam can affect delivery at the destination provider, so enable the spam filter. For e-mail packages, forwarding is available in the webmail settings.
