For your domain to point to your hosting at hoston.ch, it must use our nameservers: ns1.hoston.ch and ns2.hoston.ch. You will also find them in your welcome e-mail.

Domain registered with hoston.ch

  1. Log in to the Client Area at https://my.hoston.ch.
  2. Go to Domains > My Domains and click Manage next to the domain.
  3. Select Manage Nameservers.
  4. Choose "Use custom nameservers" and enter ns1.hoston.ch and ns2.hoston.ch.
  5. Click Change Nameservers to save.

Domain registered with another provider

  1. Log in to the account of your current domain registrar.
  2. Open your domain list and select the domain.
  3. Look for the Nameservers or DNS section. At GoDaddy it is under DNS > Nameservers > Change; at Namecheap under Domain List > Manage > Nameservers > Custom DNS.
  4. Select custom nameservers, replace the existing entries with ns1.hoston.ch and ns2.hoston.ch and save.

Note: The change can take up to 24–48 hours to take effect worldwide. During this time some visitors may still see the old server.
