Domains are registered for one or more years. To prevent your domain from expiring and keep your website and e-mail working, it must be renewed on time.
Enable auto-renewal
- Log in to the Client Area at https://my.hoston.ch.
- Go to Domains > My Domains and click Manage next to the domain.
- Under Auto Renew, enable the option and confirm.
A renewal invoice is created automatically before the expiry date. The domain is renewed as soon as the invoice has been paid.
Renew a domain manually
- In the Client Area, go to Domains > Renew Domains.
- Select the domain and the desired term and add it to the cart.
- Complete the order and pay the invoice, e.g. with TWINT, credit card, PostFinance, PayPal or QR-bill.
Note: Pay renewal invoices before the expiry date. If a domain expires, your website and e-mail stop working, and restoring it later may incur additional costs.
