SPF, DKIM and DMARC are DNS records that prove e-mails from your domain are genuine. They improve deliverability and help keep your messages out of spam folders.
- SPF – defines which servers may send e-mail for your domain.
- DKIM – digitally signs outgoing e-mails.
- DMARC – tells receiving servers how to handle e-mails that fail SPF/DKIM.
SPF and DKIM in cPanel
- Log in to cPanel at https://cpanel.hoston.ch.
- In the Email section, click Email Deliverability.
- Click Manage next to the domain.
- If a problem is shown for DKIM or SPF, click Install the suggested record.
Add DMARC
- Open Domains > Zone Editor and click Manage > Add Record next to the domain.

_dmarcas the name. - A good starting value:
v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:dmarc@yourdomain.ch - Save with Save Record. Once the reports show no problems, you can switch to
p=quarantineorp=reject.
Note: if your nameservers are not at hoston.ch, copy the displayed records into your provider's DNS management. For the e-mail packages (E-Mail Postfach / Business), you can get the correct records via a support ticket.
