Upload files with the File Manager Print

The cPanel File Manager lets you upload files directly in your browser, without an FTP client. Many files are uploaded fastest as a ZIP archive that you extract afterwards.

Upload individual files

1. Log in at https://cpanel.hoston.ch.
2. In the Files section, click File Manager.
3. Open the target folder. Files for your main domain belong in public_html.
4. Click Upload in the toolbar.
5. Drag the files into the window or click Select File.
6. Wait until the progress bar shows 100%, then click Go Back to ….

Upload and extract a ZIP archive

1. Upload the ZIP file to the target folder as described above.
2. Right-click the ZIP file and choose Extract.
3. Check the target path and click Extract Files.
4. Delete the ZIP file afterwards to save disk space.

Tip: If the archive contains a subfolder, use Move to move the files into public_html so the website loads directly under your domain.
