JetBackup automatically creates daily backups of your hosting account. You can restore files, databases and e-mails yourself in cPanel – no ticket needed.
Restore individual items
- Log in at https://cpanel.hoston.ch.
- In the JetBackup section, open the category you need:
- File Backups for files and folders
- Database Backups for MySQL databases
- Email Backups for mailboxes
- Select the backup with the date you want.
- For files, you can use Change Files Selection to pick specific files or folders.
- Click Restore and confirm.
- Progress is shown under Queue. Once complete, the data is restored.
Restore the whole account
- Open JetBackup > Full Backups.
- Select the backup date and click Restore.
- Choose the parts to restore and confirm.
Important: A restore overwrites the current state of the selected data. Save any newer changes first if you want to keep them. If in doubt, our support team can help via a ticket in the Client Area.
