Download a full backup Print

In addition to the automatic backups, you can download a copy of your account to your computer at any time – as your own backup or for a move.

Option 1: Download via JetBackup

1. Log in at https://cpanel.hoston.ch.
2. In the JetBackup section, open Full Backups (or File Backups / Database Backups for individual parts).
3. Select the backup and click Download.
4. JetBackup prepares the file. You can follow the status under Queue.
5. Once the file is ready, download it via Downloads or the link shown.

Option 2: Create a current backup with cPanel

1. In the Files section, click Backup.
2. For a full backup, click Download a Full Account Backup, choose Home Directory as the destination, enter your e-mail address and click Generate Backup.
3. After the notification, download the file from the same page.
4. For partial backups, use the links under Partial Backups for the Home Directory, individual databases, or e-mail forwarders and filters.

Note: A full backup in the home directory uses your package's disk space. Delete the file after downloading it.
