Set up and connect Web Disk Print

With Web Disk (WebDAV) you can mount your web space like a network drive in Windows, macOS or Linux and move files by drag and drop.

Connect with the main account

1. Log in at https://cpanel.hoston.ch.
2. In the Files section, click Web Disk.
3. Under Main Web Disk Account, click Access Web Disk or Configure Client Access.
4. Select your operating system and click Download Configuration Script.
5. Run the downloaded script on your computer and follow the instructions.
6. Log in with your cPanel username and password. The drive then appears in your file explorer or Finder.

Create an additional Web Disk account

If someone else should only access a specific folder, create a separate account:

1. Under Create an Additional Web Disk Account, fill in Username, Domain, Directory and Password.
2. Under Permissions, choose Read-Write or Read-Only.
3. Click Create. The account appears in the list and can be connected as described above.

Tip: For large amounts of data, an FTP connection with FileZilla is usually faster and more reliable.
