Creare un database MySQL e un utente Stampa

Applicazioni come WordPress, Joomla o i negozi online richiedono un database MySQL e un utente con i permessi adeguati. Il modo più semplice è il Database Wizard.

  1. Acceda a https://cpanel.hoston.ch.
  2. Nella sezione Databases, clicchi su Database Wizard.
  3. Inserisca un nome per il database e clicchi su Next Step.
  4. Scelga un nome utente e una password sicura (oppure usi il Password Generator) e clicchi su Create User.
  5. Spunti ALL PRIVILEGES e clicchi su Next Step.
  6. Annoti nome del database, nome utente e password.

Attenzione al prefisso

cPanel antepone automaticamente il Suo nome utente cPanel ai nomi di database e utenti, ad es. mioaccount_shop. Nell'applicazione utilizzi sempre il nome completo con prefisso. Come host del database indichi localhost.

Assegnare un utente esistente a un database

  1. Apra Databases > Manage My Databases (o MySQL Databases).
  2. In Add User To Database selezioni utente e database e clicchi su Add.
  3. Assegni i permessi desiderati e clicchi su Make Changes.

Suggerimento: se installa WordPress con Softaculous, database e utente vengono creati automaticamente.
